Frequently Asked Questions

Electrolysis is the only medically recognised method of permanent hair removal. By targeting each hair follicle individually, it destroys the root to permanently stop future regrowth.

Electrolysis is a progressive process, not a one-off treatment. The exact number of sessions required varies by individual and depends on several key factors:

  • Hair Density: The volume of hair in the target area.
  • Growth Cycles: Hair must be treated during its active growth phase.
  • Hormones: Individual hormonal profiles affect hair growth patterns.
  • Area Treated: Larger or more sensitive zones take more time.
  • Consistency: Staying on track with regular appointments ensures optimal results.

Yes, electrolysis can be uncomfortable or painful, particularly on sensitive areas such as the groin, perineum, and genital region. While modern equipment significantly reduces discomfort, it is not completely pain-free. We discuss pain management options openly and honestly during your consultation to keep you as comfortable as possible.

Yes. When performed correctly by a professional using modern equipment and strict sterile techniques, electrolysis is completely safe. We adhere to rigorous clinical standards to ensure your skin health and safety at every session.

Yes, absolutely. We specialise in both genital and pre-surgery electrolysis. These treatments are charged at our standard rates, though longer sessions are often recommended to achieve optimal clearance.

For genital treatments, excellent personal hygiene is essential. Clients must:

  • Arrive freshly washed.
  • Ensure the treatment area is clean and odour-free.
  • Avoid perfumes, creams, oils, or deodorants.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment if hygiene is not adequate. This decision is made professionally, without judgment, and always with safety and clinical efficacy as the priority.

Temporary redness, swelling, and sensitivity are completely normal reactions as the skin heals. We provide detailed aftercare instructions at the end of your session to ensure proper, safe healing and optimal results.

Your appointments are reserved exclusively for you. We kindly request at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments within this 24-hour window will incur a fee.
